Our Consulting Engineers
O.J.C. CO. was incorporated in July 1995 as an Oklahoma Professional Corporation, but has been providing engineering services since 1980 to private clients. We pride ourselves in having an exemplary record in meeting scheduled deadlines, and within the engineering estimate. Much of the existing work load has been requests and recommendations from previous clients.
Otis Courtright,
P.E. and L.S, is our Principal Engineer. We
specialize in personal attention to every project by our Principal
Engineer. Otis is a graduate of
Oklahoma State University and longtime Cowboy
fan. He has more than forty years of
experience in bridge design, foundation design and structural
rehabilitation.
Otis has a wide variety of experience in engineering design,
construction
specification preparation, and construction supervision of facilities.
His projects include
structural analysis and design of :
streets,
highways,
bridges and interchanges;
wastewater collection lines;
municipal water pumping and
distribution systems;
water storage tanks;
railroad layout and design for main line, marshaling
yards;
refinery storage tanks and collection systems;
inland water port and barge
facilities; terminals;
liquid and bulk handling to
include loading and unloading into storage, rail, and/or trucks.
Nancy Doutey, P.E.
provides additional engineering expertise. Nancy
is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. She
specializes in roadway design, drainage, erosion control, site planning
and site layout. Nancy has more than 10 years of experience in
design including alignments, site design, and surveying.
Her experience also
includes:
heavy civil construction,
project control,
scheduling,
cost estimating,
construction specifications,
geotechnical laboratory testing blasting
calculations in permafrost,
dewatering, gabions design, earthwork for Alaskan
pipeline,
preliminary design for foundations and structures,
analysis, design, material take-off, and cost
estimates of multi-sided steel structures,
estimates, bid analysis, and as-built drawing
corrections for refinery project.
Structural Engineering
Our experienced staff
offers qualified CADD and technical support.
Our staff is conversant with many structural engineering software
programs which include:
RISA-3D
Boxcar
and StruCALC.
Civil Engineering
Haestad Method's SewerCAD, both sanitary and storm water;
SurvCAD and Eagle Point , various civil modules of each;
as well as Oklahoma Department of Transportation's Estimator program.
We have clients in both municipal and private sectors.
